People need maintenance, and insurance does not pay for it. Anything related to physical wellness: dry needling, cupping, massage, keeping you aligned properly, assisted stretching, strengthening, exercise...you name it, we can do it! It can mean recovery from a tough game, putting you back together post injury from things like shoveling, picking up something too heavy, or being a "weekend warrior", fixing that stuck back, teaching you how to stretch better, or how to safely strengthen. Wellness encompasses the physical wellness of YOU!
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Yes and No. Key Performance is a cash-based physical therapy and wellness practice meaning that at the time of each visit, you are responsible for payment for physical therapy services. However, if you are doing therapy, you can request a "superbill" receipt containing all pertinent information required to independently file claims with your respective private insurance company. Because out-of-network physical therapy coverage varies so much from plan to plan, it is your responsibility to inquire with your insurance company about your specific out-of-network physical therapy benefits and any other pre-authorization needed. I am NOT a Medicare provider.
No! In Ohio, we have direct access, which means you can see me immediately and get started on the road to recovery without waiting for a visit to your doctor or busy clinic schedules, which can take weeks, all while you continue to hurt. I can see you as soon as today! I will send a report and plan of care to a provider of your choice if you wish.
YES! As a registered healthcare provider, when you come for physical therapy services at Key Performance, we can provide a superbill (aka receipt) for you to submit online for reimbursement from your HSA or FSA.
I am passionate about finding the athlete in ANYONE. I have no minimum or maximum age range that I will train. Kids are pushed very hard starting early, often without the foundation they need, thus creating propensity for injury. My goal is to prevent this and keep our youth healthy and active! My ideal athlete of any age is someone who is motivated to improve and willing to work during their time with me so we can unlock their potential.
Generally, no. The focus is primarily on quality movement and core stability. This does not include lifting weights in the traditional sense. They may use weight to help them move better but the focus is not on loading. My training as a physical therapist gives me the knowledge to create safe, age-appropriate programs.
All athletes are evaluated prior to beginning training. They are placed in the group that best align them to reach their goals. Frequently, age and skill level are considered when deciding group appropriateness. All athletes must pass each "level" to advance.
